Brittany Mills (she/her/hers) is a New York City based director of theatre and actor. She has a strong passion for creating and developing new work - specifically pieces that challenge and question our modern thinking and society. 

 

As Resident Director of Pure Verb (a playwright's group formally known as AAPG), she focuses her work to create a safe place to foster the artistic process. Brittany has directed and co-produced multiple virtual productions and events, including several 24 Hour Play Festivals and A Full-Length New Work Play Series. 

 

Brittany has served as a Summer Residency Intern for New York Theatre Workshop (2017) and as the Residency’s Senior Intern (2019), working directly with NYTW’s 2050 Artistic Fellows. In 2018, Brittany was the Education Intern at Symphony Space, furthering her devotion to theatre education and creating opportunities for students in the arts.
